Anniversaries for the 1,500 strong St. Luke’s Medical Center Allied Healthcare Professional (AHP) are always an occasion for merry making and cheerful celebration. This year though, it made a big difference by placing its big heart at the center of it.
The St. Luke’s AHP had sacrificed some part of its Anniversary Week’s pomp and party to reach out to, and help the victims, of the recent earthquake swarm in Cotabato and other parts of Mindanao. It reallocated part of its budget in favor of relief goods for the victims. What’s more, its members had voluntarily dip their helping hands on their own pocket to share some more for the victims.
