The St. Luke’s Medical Center Foundation Inc. has announced the names of seven students who successfully qualified to its Medical Education Grant starting Academic Year 2019-2020. They are: Mart Almer P. Medina (De La Salle – Lipa City), Sidney Christian Montas (UST -Legazpi City Albay), Annalyn Grace E. Pancho (MSU-IliganInstitute of Technology), Shaine Dominique C. Santos (UP Manila), AlvyVergara Toledo (Wesleyan University – Nueva Ecija). John Adrian B. Urbano (PUP Manila) and Karen S. Zulueta (UP Visayas – Bacolod City).
The seven new scholars were selected by the Foundation’s Scholarship Screening and Selection Committee from 28 shortlisted candidates from around the Philippines. They were chosen based on a set of economic and academic criteria and interviews.
The grant provides 100% funding for the books and tuition, laboratory miscellaneous and other school fees of students for the full medical education program at St. Luke’s Medical Center College of Medicine – William H. Quasha Memorial (SLMCCM-WHQM).
